Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

  • Account: name, email, password hash (or Google OAuth identifier); notification preferences; account language.
  • Content you provide: source documents / URLs / topics you upload, templates you upload, generated scripts and decks.
  • Usage & billing: credit balance and transactions, deck/job metadata (page counts, timestamps, status), token/cost telemetry (internal).
  • Technical: IP address, browser/device info, logs (for security, abuse prevention, debugging).

2. How we use it

Provide and operate the service (generate/edit/export decks); authenticate you; process credits/payments; send transactional notifications (in-app / email); prevent abuse and secure the service; improve the product. We do not sell your personal data or your content.

3. Sub-processors

  • Anthropic (LLM generation) — your source content and prompts are sent to Anthropic to generate scripts/decks.
  • Stripe (payments, when enabled) — payment details are handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
  • Amazon SES (email delivery).
  • Google (OAuth sign-in, if used).
  • Hosting/infrastructure provider Amazon Web Services (AWS).

4. Retention

Generated deck files (PPTX/notes) are retained for 7 days after generation, then deleted. Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required by law. You can request deletion of your account.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. Australia Privacy Act / APPs, or EU GDPR): access, correction, deletion, and objection to certain processing. Contact hey@freppit.com. Freppit is operated from Australia and is not directed at users in the EU/EEA; we do not target or market to the EU. If you access the service from outside Australia, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

6. Security

Per-job sandboxing, encryption in transit, access controls. No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
